Kiev

Kiev is the capital city of Ukraine and will also be the host city for the Euro 2012 Final.  In addition to the final, Kiev will also host 3 group matches and a quarter final in the new Olympic Stadium with a capacity of over 80,000.

The city is home to around 3 million people and is situated on the banks of the Dnepr. Its history dates back as far as the 6th century and is referred to as “The Mother of Slavic Cities”.

Kiev Borispol Airport lies around 30km (20 miles) to the east of the city and provides excellent links to several other European cities and domestic routes.

With so much history, there is plenty to see in Kiev including the Chernobyl Musuem.
