Montenegro
Montenegro have one of the newest national football teams in the world and this will be their first European Championships. They play their home games at the Podgorica City Stadium which has a capacity of just 17,000. This means match tickets may be an issue for visiting supporters. The City Stadium is the only venue in Montenegro that is up to UEFA’s standard for hosting international matches.

Podgorica airport lies about 6 miles to the south of the city and has direct connections to London Gatwick with Montenegro Airlines (www.montenegroairlines.com) although this is not a daily service. A more realistic alternative is the coastal town of Dubrovnik in neighbouring Croatia which is around 100 miles away. Direct flights are available to Dubrovnik from London Gatwick, East Midlands, Liverpool, London Stansted, Birmingham, Exeter, Southampton, Manchester and Leeds/Bradford. However, many of these services are seasonal and you will need to check with the airlines:
- BMIBaby
- British Airways
- Easyjet
- FlyBe
- Jet2.com
- Monarch
- Thomson

There are a handful of hotels in Podgorica from 3* to luxury 5* international hotels. These can all be booked online.
